Luxury Agapanthus Greeting Card printed with fine art detailed Agapanthus painting from one of my original watercolour paintings.
One of my all time favourites, this particular Agapanthus flower was a lovely shade of purple.

Bold and beautiful, agapanthus have such striking flowers which sit beautifully in a border. Often called African lilies as they originate from the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Agapanthus also make excellent pot plants and are relatively easy to grow despite their exotic looks. Other common names include Lily of the Nile and Flower of Love. Agapanthus’ comes from the Greek words ‘agape’ and ‘anthus’, and when put together, mean ‘love flower’.They come in many shades of blues, lilacs and white and are one of the most elegant flowers in the garden. A beautiful Agapanthus specimen grows in the Sheffield Botanical Gardens and when in flower, is around 100cm tall.
